Please vote on your favorite ring! PIP

If this is too small to see i will try and resize. My bf likes the second ring and I think I like the first the best. Any opinions?

They are all pretty, but it really depends on individual taste so if I'm numbering them the same way you are...I like the 3rd one the best (the thinnest band).  Change the round stone to a princess cut and that'd probably be the ring I'd choose for myself. LOL

I am not sure if the numbering changed (or made more sense)  when I reposted the bigger pictures, but the number of which ones we liked seems to have stayed the same.

I really like thin bands and I think they are all on the thinner side. Also I don't know how I feel about the 6 pronged ring (the 2nd one). We plan on going to look at some in person on Friday.

Nope...numbers changed.  I like the second one the best.  But I have really small hands so I tend to like the thinnest bands.  I also like the tapering in toward the center stone...I think it gives it a little more emphasis.  But like I said, they are all pretty and I'd be happy with any of them

It is actually a round diamond. I think the picture and the prongs must make it look very square because my sister said the same thing!

I like them all a lot so I will have a pretty hard time deciding.

Number one and three for me. I think number one may win out by a small margin.

I like 3 best.  I really dislike 6 prong settings.
  • edited December 2011
I think they're all so similar, you'll just have to try them on and see which one really stands out to you. The first and third are almost identical, except for the way the stone is set.

And, to be clear-- the style you're looking at here is very similar to my engagement ring. I think it's a beautiful style. But there's just not enough difference between these 3 settings for me to really LIKE one more than another. If I were in your position, I would have to try them on.

They are all very similar but one paper I like 1 and 2 better than 3 for some reason.

One and three and both very similar to my ring. #1's cathedral look is just like mine.

Re: The whole "looks square" thing. My mom's friend saw my ring yesterday and commented how she loved princess cut. My center stone is also round, LOL.

I like the second one best, with the thin band. But Jeana is right, they're all very similar so it would really depend on you. They aren't drastically different, and they're all very pretty!

Second one best.  I prefer the tapering towards the center stone.  It's different and seems to make the stone stand out more to me.

I prefer the first to the third, but really find them too similar to give you an exact reason why I have this preference.

They are all beautiful, but I vote for ring #2! It's gorgeous and pretty similar to the one I've tried on and fell in love with!

I vote third followed by first. I feel like the 6 prongs on the second one take away from it, but I don't know why because I generally like 6 prong rings.

I like #2 best, but would prefer it with 4 prongs instead of 6. Number 1 is my second choice.

of course trying them on is a good idea if that is possible.

Let us know what you decide!

I'm not a huge fan of any of the bands, but I like the second one the best.

Out of those 3, I like #2 but with 4 prongs.

If you like really thin bands but pave settings worry you, look into finding a band that has petite prongs.

If you like thin bands but not the 6-prong setting, I'd go with the first one.

    They're all gorgeous. Have fun!

    Mutley,

Just curious how large is your center stone for reference?
