Not Engaged Yet

I've been MIA...but I have PIP!

Hi ladies! I posted sometime last weekend and said I was back - apparently, I wasn't.  It's been SOO busy this week catching up with what I didn't do over spring break and getting my coaching stuff together again for this crazy week of meetings - plus I've worked everyday this week (thank goodness, it can be tough subbing!)
But anyways.... I posted before that I ended up going to DB and dress shopping with my mom and tutu (grandma).  We found THE dress, and of course, it was on sale! So, we decided to purchase it, with the blessing of my BF (him saying as long as I'm happy).  I'm very excited because it's nothing like I imagined but everything I wanted! :-)  Anyways.. I know it's an early purchase, but we are 'pretty much set' on next spring as our wedding time - can't decide on a date because we really need a guest list/budget/ venue idea to see what's open.  I'm open to moving dates to get my dream venue (which i've picked out, haha).  Anyways.. I know I always want PIPs when girls get dresses or rings, etc - so here's mine! (the ring should be following soon, haha)....

I tried it on in an ivory/champagne mix - but mine will be completely white with white lace. :)

Is it your dream venue?  Or a dream venue that both of you want?

If you know he is proposing soon, why the rush?

Well, he has not decided on what his ideal venue is yet - he's not sure if he is okay with not having the ceremony at a church or not.  Yes, it's a venue that I LOVE, but if he wasn't in love with it - then it would get crossed off! I'm not a crazy person that thinks it's only MY wedding - he liked it, but pictures are never enough anyways. (planning from a different city).  Why the rush on what? The dress? We went dress shopping because mom and grandma were worried they might not be able to travel to me, or vice versa, to go shopping together - and this dress is being discontinued/on sale.  Since he was okay, I was okay - I wouldn't have done it if he thought it was a bad idea.
If you're asking why rushing into planning - I'm a planner, a to-do list kind of person.  And I like getting head starts on things - things are going to get really busy in my life again soon, and I had some down time the past months (not coaching) so I took the time to research.

    Thanks everyone for the compliments!!

Jeter - I KNOW! Horrible weather! I'm glad tomorrow is suppose to be sunny, hopefully I don't get flooded out here in St. Chuck!

Me too! At least we didn't get the snow that KC got - it was crazy!! (we were there for a birthday).  I saw a little sun on my phone weatherbug and was hoping it would be warmer :( darnit!
