I'm new too!

Ok, I posted over on the 'Introduce yourself forum' but it's painfully obvious no one goes there unless they're a n00b. So here's everything you'd ever want to know about me:

My name is Amanda, my BF and I have been together for 2.5 years. I love mac'n'cheese, potatoes (especially fried, or with some kind of cheese on top), I used to collect panda bears (stuffed animals, bookmarks, folders, you name it).

I'm originally from upstate NY (Rochester) but haven't lived there since 1993 and have been in Arizona for 2.5 years. I am only BSC for a few days a month.

I over-use smiley faces and exclamation points!

This might be stupid, but what's a 'fried' potato?  I dont' think I've ever had a fried one, unless you mean french fries?

I mean french fries. They are hands down my favorite food.

Kat - Seneca Lake is gorgeous. My aunt got married on Keuka Lake. Where did you go to high school?

A good french fry doesn't need ketchup, just like good mashed potatoes don't need gravy.

Welcome However, there are such things as fried potatoes! haha. You just slice a potato and throw it in a frying pan. They are absolutely fabulous and my favorite way to eat potatoes.

I went to Gates Chili. I had a couple cousins that went to Fairport, they graduated in 1991 and 1994. The Finger Lakes region is beautiful. I'm actually headed up there next weekend to see the family. Can't wait!

That picture looks familiar to me too. I think another knottie has a picture that looks like you and your FI or I've seen ya before.

And yummy. Fried potatoes are good. However, I've never heard them called that.
