[QUOTE]I'm just in awe of the prices that you guys are talking about. Where I live you can't get a freehold under $250K only condos. Sounds like I should be moving to Texas or Oklahoma!

Nebraska has some pretty low prices too. I expect to find a three to four bed two bath with a few thousand square feet for about 100,000 to 150,000.

[QUOTE]I agree that the outside is sooo cute! I love the kind of country look it has. Personally, I think 1200ish square feet is pretty small. Our house is 1700+ square feet and if we have kids here, it would be a challenge. I don't know if you're planning on having kids or not, though. Also, the kitchen cabinets look like they need updating, but the appliances are nice and modern! It's kind of odd that the dishwasher is under the sink, though. I also personally would not want the washer in the kitchen. It looks like it has really nice yard space, which I love. I also love the porch. I think if you are up for remodeling, it would be fantastic.

I think it comes down to what you're used to. I grew up in a 1200 sq ft house (with four people and a number of animals). I thought it was fine, since I never knew anything different.
