You ladies made my day!

Wanted to introduce myself and say thank you for the past couple day's posts making the stomach flu so much more tolerable.

After years of baby showers,  the last few months have been an onslaught of friends' engagements (can you say holy weddings 2012!), and somehow I stumbled on here.  And I keep coming back to lurk....

A little info about me:

I'm 32 work in sales and have a pretty awesome BF who will someday be my DH, but for now we are very happy being the couple we are.  In a month we go to Mexico to celebrate 1 year together (yay to lying on the beach with a drink in my hand , can it please be Feb 12th now?).

I love me some Harry Potter , cheese makes everything better, yum to potatoes (you will be my forever friend if they are sweet potato tator tots), and I believe wine and chocolate should be classified as their own food group.

Sweet potato tots are amazeballs!  They're like the fries but just soooo much better.  A bar here in the city has them.  Best invention ever.

My mother taught me to never discriminate when it comes to chocolate<img src="http://cdn.cl9.vanillaforums.com/downloaded/ver1.0/content/scripts/tinymce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-wink.gif" border="0" alt="Wink" title="Wink" />  That being said, I have an absolute weakness for Dove milk chocolate.  Do not leave it sitting out in front of me.  I will eat it all.

LOVE beer!  Sadly it doesn't love me back<img src="http://cdn.cl9.vanillaforums.com/downloaded/ver1.0/content/scripts/tinymce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-cry.gif" border="0" alt="Cry" title="Cry" />  I'm gluten intolerant, so I haven't had a good beer in a really long time!  But the BF is obsessed with Spotted Cow.  He's like a kid in a candy store when he finds it.  I took him skiing in WI a few weekends ago and he came home with 4 CASES of the stuff.  Right before I went GF I was on a kick with Magic Hat #9 and its yummy apricot flavor.

Girl with the Dragon Tattoo!  I saw all 3 of the movies in Swedish ( one even at an Indy theatre bc I love it that much) and the new one on Christmas.  Haven't gotten into the Hunger Games yet though.  Came this close to downloading it on my Nook last night.

I <3 sushi.  Yum to spicy tuna and anything with avocado in it.

My second date with BF was a sushi date and I snuck in a bottle of my gf soy sauce.  I was told it was the most adorable thing he had ever seen. He must have liked it bc he's kept me around. 

Sadly, no crochet in my life.

Lately, I'm obsessed with frozen yogurt.  The do it yourself bar kind and not ice cream.  There's a place called Forever Yogurt where you add any kind of topping to one of their 6-8 flavors of the day.  I have been known to eat it in place of dinner.

I have a crazy furball cat named Simon.  He's 20lbs.  Yes you read that correctly.  He outweighs many of the dogs in my building.  He is even twice the size as BF's SIL's dog.  He has been on a RX diet for 2 years and gained 1/2 lb.   REALLY.   

All my pics are on my old computer, but I do have a couple on my iPhone.  I'll work on uploading so you can see him in his enourmousness!

I have my favorite shows.  I became obsessed with Revenge, American Horror Story, and Happy Endings this year.  I've been trying to watch more of How I Met Your Mother and Big Bang Theory, too.

I love sports!   I will watch pretty much any baseball and football game, but I love my Cubs and Bears the most.  BF is from OH and a Reds fan so we don't agree on that, but the rest of his teams are ok.  He's a sports junkie, and as much as I like football I am soooo happy to see football season ending.   To celebrate, I got us a couple sets of  Blackhawks tickets for the month to get us out of football mood.  I'm excited bc it will be my first game in like 20 years ( crap I'm old!)
