I hate doctors. I know they usually make you feel better, but I still hate it.

I have my urology visit tomorrow. It's a completely new hospital, new doctor, new everything. Usually FI makes me feel better before I go to these things, lol, but tonight I'm staying at my parents' house because it's only a 20 minute driver versus the hour and a half from our apartment. I won't have to miss as much work this way and then I'm hanging out with my mom tomorrow afterwards and going to see my grandparents.

That's a sad story in itself. I feel horrible that I haven't even seen them once this year yet. They're only in Ohio a few months out of the year and they spend the other months in Florida.

Good luck! You'll be just fine.

 I changed mine to Friday. I woke up Monday with horrible cramps and did not want to drive there. I would have thrown up. So, I called and moved it to Friday. It still hurts when I pee. I'm pretty scared something is really wrong with my kidneys, since that's what the doctor said when I saw here a few weeks ago before I scheduled this appointment. We can be scared together...

I hope the doctor goes well, and that you start to feel better soon! New situations always make me anxious too. I have to go see a campus doctor on Friday to get some tests done since I'm not at home for my GP to do them, and I'm not really looking forward to it. Sending vibes for your visit!

That's nice that you get to spend time with family though! I'm sure your grandparents understand that life is hectic, and they're only nearby a few months out of the year. Don't worry about it too much, just enjoy your visit.

Polkadot: I was wondering if you went or how it went, but I didn't want to ask since doctor issues can be pretty personal sometimes. I still have no pain and, of course, my bladder is behaving now that I have to go see him. That's the pattern though. It comes and goes every few weeks. Do you have pain in your kidneys or just pain when you have to go? Hopefully we both have something easy to fix and we'll be all good to go next month!! I'll keep my fingers crossed for you and say a prayer!

::hugs:: I know how that all feels. I am having a hard time wrapping my head around my own appointment Monday for a biopsy and followup and it's no fun. I dislike doctors for many reasons and know that it's important for my health to go but it dosen't mean I like it at all. I hope you can relax some before it happens. Take it easy.

Tafft: I'm sorry to hear you have to have a biopsy. I'll say a prayer for you too! At least you can try to focus on your fun Christmas in Disneyland that is coming up! : )

Nope, just when I go. It's weird. It doesn't hurt EVERY time either. But, most times. My sides don't hurt or anything, and I've been checked for UTIs soooo many times. This problem has seriously been going on for like 6 months. It stopped for 2 months in between and came back again. It's super annoying. I'm starting to wonder if it is endometriosis in my bladder like someone said on the other post of yours.

Let us know how the doctors appointment goes!!!

Hmm, I don't know. It sounds like we have different things going on, but that they both come and go ... and then keep coming back. I will definitely post updates as I get them too!

<div>Thank you for the kind words and thoughts :) Every day gets me closer to Disneyland at least lol - I also have challenged myself via sparkpeople.com to try and drop 10 lbs before we leave , between that and work I am hoping to stay positive.
