Coming up for breath...

I've been drowning planning this retreat this weekend, and apparenlty I've missed a lot going on (congrats blue!!!!). So I guess I'm just checking in and saying hi! 

Update me on your life please? 

Here's me: No word from Job A after the first interview. Not sure what's going on there. Also, Job B just became officially available, so that will start soon. FI's got an interview at a local major league team in the area next week, so that's really exciting. Maybe things will finally get back on track for him. 

WR: Cake contract finally came (3 months late), so that's taken care of, only 3 of my 5 BM's have their dresses in, I mailed invitations TODAY, and I've got an appointment to pick out linens. We set our menu, minus the appetizers, and our venue got in new centerpieces that are MUCH prettier than the ones they used to have, so yay! 

Today is our two month mark! Squee!

Two months is going to fly by!!!!  Also, I agree with Tiger, I was in a wedding once and didn't get my BM dress until the afternoon before, and the bride (my cousin) was not stressed at all lol. 

Nothing much going on here, got a few feet of snow this weekend that's finally melting!!!!  Other than that, this board keeps me entertained.

I would also like to hear about/see these centerpieces as well.  I love a good centerpiece.

Only 2 more months!  So exciting!

I haven't really been posting much lately.  But here is a quick update anyway...

NWR: I signed up for and started training for a half marathon.

WR: We have deposits down for photographer, venue, caterer, and cake.  I bought my wedding dress.  We are meeting with a potential officiant on Saturday.  I feel like that is most of the big stuff taken care of for the wedding.

Yay two months!

I'm pumped for this weekend because my mom's siblings are coming to stay with me to surprise her for her 50th bday. We'll go out to dinner Saturday night and make a ruckus at a nearby restaurant. Then on Sunday we are going to a couple of wine tastings.

Woo Hoo two months! So exciting!

So BF and I took our dance lessons last night and we actually learned a lot and it was just the basics of ballroom dancing and we did some cha cha. It was fun. The rest of the week should be pretty easy going. Next week is going to be crazy but fun.

Yay, 2 months! That's so exciting!

I had an interview yesterday and I was really nervous because it wasn't a 1 on 1 interview, instead a panel of 6 people. I really want this job so I'm hoping they like me.

I like those centerpieces!  All the venues around here use the old school hurricane lamps.  When my friend got married, she had to PAY the venue not to use them.  It was like $3 a centerpiece but at least we weren't looking at a hurricane lamp centerpiece all night (she had big martini glasses with some clear gel crap in them and floating candles)

My FMIL asked me yesterday if she had to put people on the guest list if they might be dead...oh gosh, FMIL.  If they're not dead yet, they get an invite!  Well ya know, if I approve of them.

It's kinda hilarious, this planning thing

We went in for our tasting and they had the lamp set up on the table and FI goes, "man, those would make for an awesome centerpiece. They look so cool!" Our *new* coordinator goes, "Oh, did no one tell you? We're phasing out one of our centerpieces and replacing them with these!" So, that was exciting. </div>
