S/O: Compliments

I know we talked about this yesterday, but it came up last night while I was celebrating, and it hit me today.  Apparently I handle compliments better when I'm drunk.  Or I'm just a thousand times better at bean-dipping them.

I met a co-host for an ESPN radio show last night at the bar.  And I started off by talking to him about his amazing bow-tie.  Well, it turned into a complete all out rant about the Eagles SUCKING BALLS this year, and how I'm ready to knock Andy Reid off a cliff and if Desean can't get his shiit together, he's going too.  And the man looked at me and said "You're a man's dream.  Call me when you get back in town."  No, I don't think it was a date, but it has thrown me off this morning. Definitely the best compliment I've ever gotten.

So, what's the best compliment you've ever received?

There's an older lady who works part-time in my office. A month into this job, she hobbled on over to my desk and said, "I've been meaning to tell you this since your first week here; I've been listening to you on the phones. I just have to let you know: you're a good bullsh*tter!"

She's this cute little old lady with a cane! It seriously made me smile all day!

I was bullied a lot in school and teased about my looks. When I was 18 (legal drinking age here) I was hot. Long hair, perfect skin, cute butt, big boobs, skinny, blablabla. And I was also a bar star. I'd hit up the clubs with my girlfriends in a hot little outfit 3 or 4 nights a week. One of the worst bullies was at the bar one night and started hitting on me, telling me I was beautiful and he'd do anything to go on a date with me. I told him "Hell no" when he asked why I asked him if he knew who I was, he asked if I was a famous model. The look on his face when I told him who I actually was, was priceless. He tried to say that he wasn't like that anymore, that he's changed blablabla. But he didn't even offer an apology. I told him to go screw himself and walked away. The fact that he was hitting on me and I was able to say that to him, best thing EVER.
