Gift Suggestions??

I need a suggestion for what to get my half-sister's husband for Christmas. I don't really know him all that well. I was going to buy him a bottle of Vodka but my father beat me to it... So, now I'm stumped... The most I know about him is that he's into football...

I have to get him something from BF & I because we're going to see him Christmas Eve and it would be rude... Any idea of what to get for someone you don't really know (or like) that well??

I second the iTunes gift card.
    I'm not good at feelings.

Maybe tickets to the local movie theater for him and his wife in a basket with movie-like things (popcorn, candy...) and maybe a dvd?

I'd say itunes, movies, or food gift card. I love iTunes gift cards, but you could also just get him one of the visa gift cards and let him do whatever.

I think he is actually one of those people that still buys CDs lol

We bought a Visa gift card for BF's sister's husband... So, I think I might get the same thing for my brother-in-law...

Either that or a sweater lol

Do they live together? A Home Depot/Lowes giftcard would be good if they do.

LOL he's her husband... I hope they do! lol

I was thinking something like that... but I also don't want to spend that much money and I kinda feel like certain giftcards are useless if they are under a certain amount...

like how much good could a $25 gift card to home depot be?? lol

I think I'm just going to buy him a sweater and call it a day because I have a store credit at Kohl's...

I suggest a restaurant gift card. That's what I've been telling everyone to get FI since we're trying to save for a house and we're too poor to go out.

That's a good idea... because I just looked at Kohl's website and it's gonna cost me $70 to order the Chicago Bears sweatshirt I wanted to get him... AND I'm so annoyed because the Kohls Cash that I have ($20) expired yesterday!! :(

    This Christmas shopping crap is way too stressful!! <img src="http://cdn.cl9.vanillaforums.com/downloaded/ver1.0/content/scripts/tinymce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-embarassed.gif" border="0" alt="Embarassed" title="Embarassed" />
