Gift Ideas... Help Please! ETA PIP of Optionns

So, there are 4 bdays in November for BF and me.

My youngest sister is turning 11 on the 8th. I took in my old pink St. Louis Blues jersey to fit her and had her name and 11 put on the back at her request. We are taking her to a game the weekend after her bday as her gift. She has never been to a pro hockey game before.

My other sister is turning 22 on the 28th. I am making her a dress and scarf and buying her a broach to go on the scarf.

My bday is on the 29th and BF knows of a watch and jacket that I want but that above all else, I'd really like a big sparkly on my finger by then. lol

So we are pretty good on all of these gifts. The one giving us trouble is BF's sister.

BF's sister is turning 16 on the 29th. (we are bday twins) She has been kicking ass in school and we really want to get her something memorable and awesome to commemorate not only being 16 but working so hard in school. We have a bunch of ideas but are stuck on which are best. We really would like to spend $150 or less but a little over isn't a huge deal.

TIA!!!!!

Ok, so I think we are all in aggreament about Tiffany. So what do you guys think of these options?

or a ring?

I agree with Yaga.  The Tiffany earrings will be a great gift & totally memorable!!!

My mom suggested the earrings and I love the idea too. I just hope BF is ok with the price. Maybe I can get him to give me the $ for them and I can go pick them up and pay the difference from what he would want to spend?

I definitely like the earrings... something like that is a great reward & something she can have forever, instead of outgrowing like clothes or shoes. What a fabulous big-FSIL you are :-)

I agree with everyone else.  I think she'll really treasure a piece of jewelry from Tiffany.

When I was 16 I wanted a car, and my parents gave me a matchbox toy car. It was so disspointing, lol.

Every woman needs decent boots, a cute scarf, and a black peacoat. Does she have either of those?

She has tons of scarves and I'm pretty sure she has some decent flat boots she wears a lot and plenty of coats. I'm not sure if she would wear a peacoat as she really doesn't dress up that often. She is more athletic but girly than sophisticated and girly, if you know what I mean.

My choice would be the pearls, as they seem more timeless. However, I'm someone who wears my pearls almost daily, so I'm biased. ;)

ETA: I see from the other posts that they are likely silver balls - they are still my top choice :)

I have the ball ones & I absolutely love them. You can dress them up or dress them down.  They're really versatile so I vote for them!!

Thanks for the advice ladies! I think I'll take BF to Tiffany and show him some different styles and see what he thinks too. I am leaning toward the balls too being that they are very classic and since she is pretty athletic they might be the easiest to wear more.

I have a pair of classic silver earrings in that round shape that are a little oversize. I wear them nearly every day, and I get many compliments on them, but you know what? They were really inexpensive.

JMO, but for the money, I would want to get something with a little more sass.

Love the ball earrings too! I have a necklace from Tiffany that my Daddy bought me for my 16th Christmas, and I LOVE it. I literally never take it off unless I'm (once in a blue moon) wearing some other necklace it doesn't match.
