Dress shopping!!!

So I'm going dress shopping tomorrow : ) I'm wearing my spanx and bringing heals so I know how the dress will look with shoes on. I will be bringing a camera, my mom, sister, grandma, and FMIL. Too many people in my opinion but have to bring mom, grandma is helping to pay for my dress so she's in, FMIL is included because I asked her without thinking first, and sister is going so I'll have someone who will tell me the truth about how I look!

Anything else I should bring with me?

I'd suggest doing your hair nicely, and making sure you wear make-up (kind of like you would on the wedding).  You'll really see how things will look, plus, it'll help you feel even more confident when trying on dresses.

Thanks for the suggestion! I will basically be stopping home for 5 minutes before going back out but I'll run a brush through my hair and touch up my make up, good idea!

They camera is already packed in my purse bajediva...I won't forget it!

Bring a hair band so you can put your hair up if you want.

I wore nice earrings and brought a necklace with me as well.

I wouldn't go crazy with the makeup- the stores don't appreciate having crazy makeup all over their sample dresses.  I'd bring a strapless bra, if its not included in the spanx.  Also, bring pics of dress styles that you love, so the consultants have an idea of what you want.  They'll ask for specifics anyway, but it helps.  I went in, proclaiming I was going to be a Maggie bride, lol, bc I loved all her styles.  Not surprisingly, I ended up with a Maggie!
