I've been lurking for a while and finally decided to post. My boyfriend and I have talked about marriage since shortly after we started dating about a year and a half ago. We have kind of a special relationship... he was a neighbor of mine growing up and we were good friends in highschool even though we didn't go to the same school (he went to an all boys private school). We reconnected after losing touch for a few years and started hanging out as friends but there was an obvious connection and we began dating. I was seperated and working through a dissolution of my first marriage to my son's father when we first started dating so things were not as simple as a normal dating situation. We love each other more than I ever imagained was even possible and he and my son are complete buds. We are very lucky that both of our families love us and are very supportive of us! Now that my dissolution is finally in the past we ahve talked a little more about the future, getting engaged, moving in together, getting married and having more children. I am sooo happy with him and I am very excited for the future!
