Shiit My SO says

SB and E did this, and I thought it was hilarious.

Tell me soemthing witty/funny/hilarious that your SO has said.

Everytime Hetsup makes a labia tap joke, it reminds me of this:

One night, when BF and I hadn't been dating long, we came home from the bar to my apartment.  We were pretty far gone, and he was feeling frisky. (Bom chicka wah wah)
He leans in to me, looks straight in my eyes, and in the sexiest/dirtiest/drunkest voice he could manage, he said "I wanna poke you in the labia."

Laughter ensued, he got butthurt, we passed out.

Now it's a running joke.  If he's making me mad, he'll say it to calm me down.

You know those credit card commercials  that have 'Peggy' in them? It's the bearded guy that answers the phone and says 'This is Peggy.' Well those commercials crack us up, and randomly throughout the week either my BF or I will call each other Peggy.

So after we went to dinner for V-day, my BF and I had climbed into bed. I think I asked him something about what show he wanted to watch, and he turns to me and says, in his best russian accent, 'It's sexy time Peggy.'

The two of us laughed so hard. And every time I think about it I start cracking up again. And he was right, it really WAS sexy time... lol

BF has this voice he does. It's kind of a cross between "gay lisp," mentally handicapped, and socially awkward guy. He'll turn to me and say, in the voice, "Hey, Lindsay, do you want to go on a date with me sometime?" Or just make a comment on whatever we're talking about. Always in the voice, and always with the "Hey, Lindsay..." It creeps me out and makes me laugh uncomfortably every time! It's the worst when he's already hugging me and does the voice.

My bf does theses imitations that are guaranteed to get a laugh out of me. The imitations are of inanimate objects. I don't think I can begin to describe how he does any of them but the list includes: a loose eyelash, a bubble, windshield wipers, and 'bacon' collar. Gosh I love that guy.

Last night when BF was leaving my aunts house, we were about the kiss goodbye, and I backed away to sneeze. He attempted to say "Bless you" but was already saying something else, and instead said "Pleasure." I started cracking up just thinking of an English accent saying "It's been a pleasure" then leaning in to kiss.

FBD wrote me an e-mail a few days after our engagement.  He was really excited and kept calling me his finance.  It's now a running joke that when I refer to him IRL he's my finance, not my fiance

Well this weekend, we were all eating dinner with my family. I have a really high matabolism, and I eat a lot. I'm sort of a pig. But I am underweight. Dumb. Anyways, my famiy always makes fun of me for eating so much (always making pig noises and stuff). It's a running joke. So, FI was there and they were makin their pig noises and joking around and we were all laughing. I was pretending to be mad, and FI said, "Well dear, you do eat more than any other girl I've ever seen!" And then my whole family errupts into laughter and he tried to regain himself by saying, "well I dont' see any girls... ahh" It was hilarious.

This is something silly that happened this morning.  I left early to go help out at the church's food bank. He was kind of grumpy before I left, but I wasn't going to hold it against him.  He was already asleep (since he works graveyard) when I got home.  I walked into the kitchen and realized that he had put away the clean dishes and loaded the dirty dishes into the dishwasher.  Well, we don't have a ton of cupboard space, so the crockpot stays out on the counter (esp since we use it almost weekly).  The crock and lid are dishwasher safe and had been in the clean dish category.  The crock and lid were sitting on the counter with a sticky note that said "I don't know where this goes - love you".  The funny thing is - they were sitting right in front of the crock pot holder (not sure what it's called, but the outer part that the crock sits in).  I just laughed...he was so sweet for putting everything away.

We laugh about this know, back then I wasn't annoyed or angry I was just surprised.  FI used to have foot in mouth syndrome, with the appropriate meds he has it under control now.  But this is when we first started dating, he took me on a road trip for my birthday.  I had been losing weight and had to borrow my roomate's jeans because all of mine were loose.  While at the hotel I made a comment that I wanted to buy new jeans when I got  back into town, but I wasn't sure if I wanted to because I just bought a pair and lost more weight so it was a waste of money.  Danish man looks at me and says something along the lines of  "Its ok you still have a long way to go" now if I didn't know him better I would have been insulted and chuck my curling iron at him.  Buuuuut I knew that he meant I shouldn't waste my money cause I was losing weight so quickly.  He has his moments but I do love him to bits and pieces.

Last fall, before we were engaged, I was visiting with my mom and one of my mom's friends when the friend asked how long FI and I had been together.  When I told her "four years," she got really exciting and starting yapping to my mom about throwing an engagement party at her beach house.  So I texted FI, and the conversation went like this:

Me:  Mom and Carol are planning our engagement party.  Just thought you ought to know.
Him:  Uh, ok.  As long as they serve good food.
Me:  How do you feel about a Caribbean theme?  Carol's idea.
Him:  As long as I can dress like a pirate, because you're my treasure.

Groooaaaan.  He's always coming up with super cheesy, silly lines like that.

BF does this whenever we go somewhere whose name guarantees a promise. For example, we went to this burger restaurant called "5 Napkin Burger." I had been there before, and this was his first time. Before we went in, he said, "If they don't give me 5 napkins, I'm leaving!"

My BF too has some very cheesy lines.  They always make me laugh though especially when he says "Kablam!" and does a victory arm punch.... LOL!  He is always so proud of himself for being "romantic."  :)  I am smiling just thinking about it.

Last night BF and I ran to Best Buy and CVS. While in Best Buy, "Livin' on a Prayer" came on the radio in the store. He grabbed me and started singing loudly "OHH we're halfway thereeeeee," and he grabbed my hands. I just went along with it with a bored look on my face. He goes "give me your hand." "Okay." He then gets all defensive "Is that what your reaction is going to be when I propose to you?! I'll ask for your hand and you'll give me an 'okay.. whatever'. " It was cute/funny.

I kind of told this story elsewhere, but definitely not in detail.

BF keeps talking about getting engaged, and we had looked at rings at one point, and then he got all crazy and secretive, which sent me into BSC mode.  One day, after going to look at apartments/grad school, we stopped for dinner at this cute little Asian restaurant on our way home.  We're sitting, sushi comes, talking...and the kid gets up, bends down on one knee (at which point my BSC is in overdrive) and says..."I don't know where in this world I would be without you.  Will you please tie my shoe?"

I beat him severely when we got in the car.  He hasn't tried it since.  Although I still make fun of him on a regular basis.  Especially when he claims he wants to "practice"
