Friday Chat

Morning ladies and happy Friday! It was SO hard to get up today. It's raining here and it's super dark in the morning (even when I'm on my way to work).

What do you have going on this weekend?

I have nothing tonight. I'm thinking FI and I will rent a couple movies and have a movie night! Tomorrow I desperately need to get my closet room in order. It's a disaster area, clothes are everywhere. I need to get the rest of my boots up from the basement because I've been wearing the same pair for weeks. Sunday I'm doing a breast cancer walk down the shore.

Happy Friday! I'm so glad it's here. Last week Friday felt like it could have been Tuesday. This week I've been ready for Friday since Monday.

I don't like how dark it is, it definitely doesn't help me getting up. And I stepped in a puddle this morning on my way to the car. I don't like having a wet foot!

Ah movie night sounds fun. I might try to convince BF but since he stayed up all night writing a paper I don't think he'll be up for it. I've got no plans for the weekend except studying. I'm so behind in school work it's not fun.

Scrapbook weekend is finally here! I am taking all the pictures of FI and me and preparing a scrapbook that will be on display at the wedding. If will probably take me all weekend to do. My friend and I leave at 1 and drive 2 hours for the weekend. I went two years ago and it was a blast!

With regards to the rain, I feel like it has been raining non-stop for two weeks. We got a break on Monday but it has been raining since then. This whole going to work when it is still dark thing is a stupid concept too. Makes me want to hop back into bed and snuggle with the pup.

    Morning, Rdr!

It's rainy, cold, and sucky here, too. :( It's getting old, quickly!

I'm not a very happy camper today. FI and I talked last night about school, life and a bunch of things before my class last night - and I felt better about things. I was formulating a plan on what to do, and such.

He decided to go to the casino after his sucktastical day (His Ipad got stolen while he was working at school. The principal tracked down the bus that the kid was on, and got it back - with no damage or anything - but it really threw FI for a loop). Which is fine, he has a separate fund for that type of thing, so I rarely worry about it.

He called me on his way home, and said that I need to ban him from the casino, because he, "lost quite a bit" - but wouldn't tell me what quite a bit was. In the end, he did tell me, and while I'm pissed about the money - I'm more concerned about him. He isn't happy outside of our relationship - he hates his job, he hates how little we see each other, he isn't happy with his relationship with his family or friends , and I really don't like seeing him this way. I don't know what to do to help him, outside of forcing him to take the steps to get his masters, so that he can get into the position that would ultimately make him happy.

THEN I get into work today, and it just gets even better, lol. Materials are missing from a  job that I know got delivered - i have thieving employees, and a pissed off boss. One guy called in sick, and it's just... *sigh* I'm glad it's Friday lol.

I have a birthday dinner tonight for FMIL - she turned 60 yesterday. Her other son decided to invite like - AAAAALL the family - instead of just us. I wasn't really looking forward to it, but I have decided that it is going to be fun darn it, and I'll end up sitting between my neice and nephew and color all night lol.

Tomorrow I have a button of homework and cleaning to do - then FI and I are probably going to my stepdad's house to watch the MSU vs UofM game and play Catan and drink Yeungling. I know I'm going to get a TOOOOOOON of crap from my mom and sister for hanging out with my stepdad since the divorce announcement - but oh well. I'm going to enjoy myself.

Sunday will be grocery shopping, and getting ready for next week. Starting monday my butt is getting up before work and going to the gym. I'm tired of being in pain with my back. Who wants to text me regularly and help keep me motivated?? :)

Fizzy: You make me so grateful I remembered to throw on my rainboots before I left the aparment this morning! I hate wet feet and when the bottom of your jeans get wet and then it feels like they're wet for the rest of the day!

Yea it was really dark here this morning too and rainy, even as I left for work at 7:15. I hate that it gets darker here so much earlier now :-(

Tonight we'll just relax stay in, play some video games.  I feel exhausted and I didn't sleep well last night. After 5pm today I have to call in to see if I have jury duty next week. Tomorrow we are going to Great Adventure, I'm looking forward to it. No one else is going with us but sometimes it's fun going just the two of us.

Sunday we're are going house hunting with our real estate agent.  I'm excited because a few of the homes we are seeing are on my "must see list".  I'm also a bit nervous too, at least we aren't in any rush to find something so if these homes disappoint I'm not worried.

    Happy Friday!

Tonight we have dinner and a movie and then I'm getting drunk.  Tomorrow I was planning on sleeping in, and then heading home, but friends are coming into town last minute, so I think I'll be doing that.  And then my uncle gets into town, and Sunday morning we're taking him to WV for a conference.

I basically just want a weeklong nap out of life.

RDR good luck with the breast cancer walk.

Irish I hope your bf finds something to make him happy. I also hope you enjoy the birthday dinner.

    Danser What is great adventure?

    As for me:

Movie night sounds like an excellent plan for tonight.

This weekend I'm hoping to eat real food again tired of this liquid stuff after 3 days. Smoothies get old quick.

Tonight I get to try electrical physical therapy, and hopefully new pain meds. Poor FI didnt sleep so hot last night worrying about me after my abrubt awakening at 1am due to pain and more pain.

Tomorrow if they get my poop in a sack and I'm not feeling like a train derailment anymore we are going to the last weekend of the MDRF. If they dont I'm sending FI because he needs stress relief after the last week we've had. I'll just sleep with a kitten on the couch.

Sunday I have to help my kidlet finish her school project when she gets home, and spend some time with my girlfriends after I get some house cleaning done.

TGIF! It took forever to get here this week!

Tonight is a chill night, the usual Friday at my mom's drinking wine and having something yummy for dinner.

Tomorrow my mom and sister and I are going to walk around a cute little town up here, antiquing and doing fallish things. Then my friend Katie is coming over to spend the night and she and my sister and I are walking to the bar down the street for some beeahs :)

Sunday I will hopefully make a dent in the closet and bedroom organizing that I need to do. A lot of fall and winter clothes need to be brought out and some summer clothes put away, and I am still not entirely unpacked from moving in with my sister. Aside from that I hope to make a few meals for the following week so that they are all set. Oh, and laundry. Fun times!

Irish - I hope your weekend goes a lot better than your week!

Danser - Pumpkin pancakes! Or pumpin cupcakes/muffins with cream cheese frosting. YUM.

I could not wake up this morning. I literally slept until 8 minutes before I was supposed to start working. Then, I walked down to DD for some coffee in the pouring rain. We are now 100% moved into the new apartment. Yay! Still need to put away some odds and ends, and I need to buy a bunch of things. We need stools for our kitchen counter, and I neeeeeed to decide on a theme for posters to hang in the living room. I have a bunch of 24x36'' frames, but I have NO idea what to get. Ideas? I also have one really nice huge frame to go above our bed, and need to pick out a good print for that as well. I really want stuff up on the walls before our housewarming party in a month.

Yesterday, I aslo started an Amazon shopping list of puppy things Smile. So far, I have a teeny tiny harness in black, and three stuffable Kong toys. Hopefully I can go to a Petco or something this weekend and pick up a few other things (dog bed, leashes, collar, MORE TOYS!). I cannot wait for our little puppy to get here - I can't believe I have to hold out for three more weeks!

I am so glad it is finally Friday.  I didn't get a lot of sleep Wednesday night and since then I have been feeling so exhausted.  I think part of it is that I have also been working out much more frequently and I am pretty worn out from lifting so much.

I don't really know what is on the schedule for the weekend.  FI and I might get together with some friends on Saturday.  Sunday we are hoping to spend the day together doing nothing.  We are boring :)

    Mornin biznatches!

Praise the Lord and pass the ammunition! It's Friday!! But I don't exactly have a relaxing weekend planned though.

I'm going camping tonight. Before you get all "Oooh! How fun! Enjoy the booze and smores by the campfire!"...I'm camping with a shiiiit-ton of ill-mannered 9 and 10 year old boys, who recently discovered the armpit and palm of the hand fart. My kid? I love him. He's super. Other kids? Not so much. They're shitheads. Thankfully, it's just for tonight and then el senor is showing up tomorrow morning to relieve me. It's a scout campout so, unfortunately that means no booze. Excuse me while I weep.

Then tomorrow it's off to the barn to get the princess all prettied up for the horse show on Sunday! Sunday is the last show of the season and I'm currently in 3rd place overall. I'm only 8pts behind the chick in 2nd place and I'm really hoping for a good day, good rides, and knocking her out so I can win the Reserve Champion cooler. So, please for "no falling off" vibes?
