What are you doing for..

Fathers day? Last year we bought BF's dad a laptop between the five of us. I have no clue yet what were going to do this year yet.

I bought him a ceramic platter that is really long that is shaped like a fish for when he grills fish at the lake. He'll go catch trout a lot and then we'll eat it for dinner. I tried to find a pic, but they are all the cheesy ones.

I completely forgot about fathers day :( This is my first fathers day without my father, I think BF is going to put a flower on his grave for me. Other than that, we really never did gifts for fathers day or mothers day in my family.

We're just doing brunch - which is turning into me taking not only my dad, but mom, and sister. Sister is 21 and apparently can't pay for anything herself, so not only can she not chip in on our dad's meal, but I'll have to foot the bill for her meal as well. I could ask my mom to split it, but my mom doesn't work much and was very sick earlier this year and just got back to work, so I feel bad asking.

BFs parents are coming too along with his sister's BF. Fortunately, BF's sister (who is about to be 22) is helping BF cover the cost of their families brunch. Its amazing the similarity in age, but the difference in maturity between our two sisters.

Sorry, I am pissed at my idiot sister. She wants me to treat her like an adult, but she acts like a 13 year old.
Happy to get that little vent out Laughing

We really don't do much, my dad is a truck driver, so he probably won't make it home this weekend.  I'm gonna call him, but that's probably it.

My dad will be working and I have no idea what we are doing for Josh's dad.

We are splitting up Father's Day between my dad and BF's dad. My dad LOVES breakfast, so we will be spending the morning with him. Then later on we will be having a potluck dinner at BF's sister's house, with his parents. She had a baby in April, so it's her DH's first Father's Day!

As usual, I have procrastinated and just went today to pick out my step-dad's card - I got him a HILARIOUS Larry the Cable Guy card and then a sweet "your little girl still loves you" card.  And I'll call him, of course, since he's 11 hours away.  As far as my biological father - this is only the second father's day that's passed since I met him for the first time... He's also in Missouri so I'll just be giving him a call aswell.

What we're actually DOING on Father's Day is going to BBQ with FFIL, whom I'm still not very happy with.  Should be interesting.
