Crazy past few days!

I feel like I haven't been on here for ever! I had an extremely busy weekend with no time to play on the computer and then our power went out at 1pm yesterday and still isn't on yet :( We had to go out at 10 last night to get coolers from my parents and ice to put all our grocies in. I didn't want my bulk shopping and farmers market runs this weekend to go to waste. But hopefully it will be back in the next few hours!

Anyone else effected by the storm through out the midwest this weekend?

PS: please pray for those in Joplin, MO there are more than 89 dead and so many without homes and there just aren't enough shelters for all the residents.

    Sorry you're week has been crazy so far CCO2012. I'm glad you are safe. My thoughts have been with those in Joplin - I cannot imagine what they are going through...

    Jeff's uncle's house got destroyed. :( He's okay though, which I am thankful for. North Minneapolis is already the poorest  part of the city, and now it's destroyed. There's so much stealing and stuff going on... It's sad.

    Prayers to those in Joplin. I literally cannot imagine what they are going through. For your sake, I hope your power comes on soon! I remember going through a couple hurricanes when I lived in Tampa and it's amazing how disruptive losing your power can be.

    Stay safe and I hope no one else is affected by these crazy storms! It's sad and devastating. It seems like as soon as one region starts to rebuild, another is hit. Hoping all of your friends, family and loved ones are safe.

    Thankfully the BF texted just a few minutes ago that the power is now back on! So only about 20 hours without power. Not too bad seeing as other times I remember losing power it was out anywhere from 2-5 days! 

    Here are ways to help if you are interested. I'll start another thread too.
