I miss you guyssss

So I've been coming back around a little more often after taking some time away from the boards.  Hope everyone is doing well!  Answer me this!

What is your favorite Disney love story?

I will be going to Disneyworld for the HM and I can't wait!  My favorite is "Beauty and the Beast" Because I believe that she truly fell in love with him for who he was and not his title.  Cinderella and Snow White just all of the sudden met their Princes and was "omgosh I'm in love happily ever after."  I believe it life works more like BATB than any other movie.  That's my story. Yours?
When is my wedding

Cinderella... I love her dress. :) I'm shallow like that.

I really like all of them, but I'm partial to The Little Mermaid. Ariel knew what she wanted was beyond the boundaries set for her, but she went for it anyway. She was willing to risk everything (maybe a little stupid or naive, but still..) in order to experience new things and pursue her dreams.

Plus, SHE saved HIM first... not the other way around. Homegirl's seriously self-sufficient.

How can you NOT love a girl like that?

Beauty and the Beast and the Little Mermaid were always my favorites! Sleeping Beauty is a really good one too though! Snow white was my least favorite.

How silly is it that Sleeping Beauty apparently fell into "true love" while sleeping? Or at the least that that prince fell in love with her and she woke up and was like, "Let's get married!!!!" It's like the original BSC.  :P

I like both Ariel and Belle. Although I think Eric is dumb for being so stuck on the voice thing.

    I like that Belle's a bookworm. :)

Edited for sense. I forgot a word.

OMG. I am a total Disney princess. Seriously, I love Disney waaaay too much. At my prom, everyone kept telling me I looked like a Disney princess. Of course, that may have had to do with the fact that I was the only one there in a ballgown, haha.

I LOVE Beauty and the Beast (mmm, Stockholm syndrome!), but my FI doesn't like it. He just says the movie is too dark. =( I suppose he's right, but I still love it. I've always been a total bookworm so I relate to Belle. I mean, screw it, I'd totally marry a guy on the spot if he gave me an entire library as a gift!

Has anyone seen Tangled? I was definitely skeptical because of the CGI (I love the hand drawn ones), but it actually had Disney magic. I saw it three times in theaters, haha.  I'm totally head over heels for Flynn! ;)

I had my senior prom dress made to be an exact replica of Cinderella's dress (only in purple). I'll have to scan in some pictures of my prom dress... It was awful. It had 27 layers of tulle in the bottom. I couldn't move or dance, it was too heavy.

    ....I need pictures. Now.

My prom dress was absolutely pink (although they called it something else - peach? petal? I dunno.) I originally said NO PINK because I didn't want to look like Barbie. I ended up falling in love with the pink, though. Sigh. Try as I may I just can't hide my girly-ness.

Little Mermaid is awesome for all the reasons Jeana listed.

    Also, BATB is also awesome.

And Tangled was really cute. I was so impressed with it.

I like Aladdin but I was never fond of Jasmine...

</div><div>Okay...so I really am a disney princess. One of my life goals is to have a beauty and the beast-esque library, and I'm going to see Tangled at college tonight. So NOBODY ruin it for me...(like I don't know the story anyways)</div><div>
    </div><div>BATB FTW!!!</div><div>
</div><div>btw once I took my disney princess pillow to SO's house when he still lived with his parents. His mom was seriously offended that Mulan wasn't on the pillow case...(she has two asian adopted children), then she was offended that I wasn't offended.

I love Disney princess movies. I love that my fiancé happily watches them with me. In fact, "our song" is A Whole New World. Incidentally, though I refused to see it when it came out, being a different generation from the movies I grew up with, we actually watched the Princess and the Frog a couple weeks ago. And it was awesome.

Cinderella, without question. I never really cared for the others, although I didn't mind Snow White (mostly cause her dwarves were really cute). I hated the Little Mermaid because she was my sister's favourite so we had to watch the movie gazillions of times. Same goes for Beauty and the Beast - Belle was my best friend's favourite. No one else I knew loved Cinderella, but I'm not sure what there was not to love :)

Should I ever have the chance, I want to try on the Cinderella wedding gown. Just cause.

I have different faves for different reasons. I think Snow White is the prettiest princess (probably because I have dark hair and pale skin like her!), I loved the music in Aladdin growing up, I think Lady and the Tramp is the cutest love story of them all. I really like the Pocahontas story (it reminds me of Romeo and Juliet, which is my ultimate fave love story). Oh and I liked the Lion King because JTT was in it! I dunno. I have such a hard time picking a favourite!

Mulan is my favorite...  She is totally kick ass and she owns a horse and she saves her man's life.  I really like that she over comes the social stigmas that hold women down.
BATB is pretty amazing too.  My goal and BF's goal I might add is to have a library just like his.

Since I was a kid, I always loved Lady & the Tramp.  From the get go, I always though Lady was such a beautiful pup right when she came out of the box!!  I also loved how the two could come together from two different backgrounds and fall in love.  So cute!

Beauty and the Beast for me. A brunette heroine who liked to read? Yes please.

I have a Belle costume my mom made for me when I was in high school. It's the blue dress with white shirt and apron--people think it's Alice in Wonderland for some reason. Anyway, I wore it again in college, and not only did my professor know who I was supposed to be, but it turns out her husband's ex-GF was Paige O'Hara, the voice of Belle. Mildly awkward.

P.S. For those who haven't seen Tangled, it is cute. I just could have done without some of the songs. Not Alan Menken's best work.
