Whatcha got goin' on this weekend?

FI and I will be reserving our wedding venue on Saturday and in the evening we have plans to hang out with our friends at their new house. I also have plans to eat lunch with my college friend on Sunday.

Tonight also starts our 6 month penny-pinchin' life.

(I'm writing my name on my pizza slices today--fingers crossed no one takes it!)

    Yay!!! That's so exciting!!!!! Also, if someone touches your pizza today I will personally come to DC & kick their ass for you. 

    FI just texted me that he might have to work tomorrow, which is good in the sense that we'll have more money to put in our wedding fund, but bad in that I was really looking forward to sleeping in, cuddling, & being lazy with him tomorrow. Tomorrow night we have a Devils game against the Winnipeg Jets (new team!).  Any of you Canadian ladies live near there?

    Sunday I have a bridal shower for my good friend from college.  I'm a little nervous though because it's an hour and 15 minutes away somewhere in NY state & I hate driving, especially by myself. I get scared.  So that should be interesting.

    Well, today I'm starting the weekend early! I'm leaving work at 1:30 and then heading out to my FAVORITE concert venue to see my FAVORITE band (Panic at the Disco)!!! One of my friends is going to be at the venue around 10am, so when we show up around 3, we're going to stand in line with her.

    This is gonna be my 3rd time seeing them, and tonight's concert is almost exactly 3 years to the day since I saw them first! My first time seeing them was 11/2/08 - only 2 days off. Weeeeeird.

    Saturday I have a costume party to go to. It was cancelled last week due to crazy snow, so they bumped it up to tomorrow.

    Sunday, I'm doing jack sh*t and I like it that way.

    Money is a good thing, but so is Saturday morning laziness. boo!
    And driving to a random/new place is always nerve racking. Just lock your doors and give yourself plenty of time so you don't feel rushed.

    Weekend? What's that? lol

    I work 13 hours today and then plan to write until I fall asleep.

    Tomorrow my BFF and I are watching V for Vendetta to celebrate the 5th. It's normally something FI and I do together but he's getting out of work when I start so this will be the first year since the movie came out that we haven't watched it together on the 5th. :(

    I'm hoping to have Sunday off, but I won't find out until til tonight when I go to my other job and get my schedule for next week. If I have off, I plan to sleep. A lot. lol

    Seriously?! I forget that there are so many city dwellers here that don't do the driving thing 24/7 like I do. I usually feel like I live in my car lol  Hopefully you'll make it just fine, I can't imagine driving on the roads up there especially if it's snowed or whatever.

    Sounds like everyone has (mostly) awesome weekends planned.

    I'm working until 5 today, and it is my last day!  I'm meeting a friend to go see a movie tonight (Ides of March).  Tomorrow I'm having lunch with another friend, and then I'm heading to Mast's for the 5th of November party.  Sunday I'm leaving at the asscrack of dawn to drive to SC, having lunch with my advisor in Roanoke and moving in with someone I really don't like.  Should be fun.

    Tonight we're going to meet with a photographer and hopefully we'll like her personality because we already like her pictures and price. Saturday FI will spend some quality time with my dad while my mom and I go dress hunting again and then later we have a family Halloween party (it's late because of trick-or-treating last weekend). Sunday is still up in the air, but we haven't had a weekend day for the two of us in a long time, so we'll probably just relax at home together.

    Jen: Congrats on booking the venue! And good luck with the pizza! lol. I knew someone who had their food stolen often at work, so one day he made a dog food sandwich. Someone stole it and was eating it and then actually complained to the guy about what kind of sandwich he had made. The guy told them, maybe I like dog food sandwiches, you shouldn't be stealing my food anyway. He found out who was stealing his food and made quite the point, lol. He didn't have problems after that.

    As for the date point, I looove sh!t like that. I literally record stuff in my google calendar because I love to look back at today however many years ago and see what I was up to.

    deburnin and peek- What's the 5th of Nov. ? Daylight savings?

    Tomorrow we're going to a lung cancer walk with my parents and the dogs. Afterwards, we'll probably go to Occupy Nashville for awhile -- I went for the first time last night and there was some discussion of starting a medical team for the camp, so I'd like to learn more about that possibility.

    On Sunday, I have no idea what we're doing. We might hit up Occupy again if Tyler's up to it. They're teaching classes on corporate personhood and Constitutional law, so I'd like to learn about each of those things if possible.

    Monday is our makeup anniversary day, so we'll be hanging out all day except for the hour when I go see my therapist! So excited :D!

    Oh yeah, and I have a very busy weekend ahead. I'm behind about 3 weeks in my online class, so I've got a lot of catching up to do. Good thing is my girls are going to their dad's this weekend, so I'll have the house to myself to get a whole lot done!

    And my sister and I are heading to go order our Bridesmaids dresses for my cousin's wedding in March. Too bad I gave up on the whole dieting thing, I have a feeling I'm going to be depressed with the size of the dress when it gets here.

    elannis-haha I was thinking I would be so embarrassed if I was eating from a bag that said someone else's name on it. But maybe that would not deter a criminal food stealer. Good luck with the photographer!

    ahstillwell! I was thinking of you last Saturday because my dad and sister got in a car accident and some guy driving behind them helped them. <3 So scary. Not as gruesome as your story about the cyclist, but scary cause it was my dad and sister.

    I have to work late tonight, and all day tomorrow, but I will finally have a day off on Sunday. I'm planning on sleeping in, and then cleaning my apartment (which is a total disaster), doing laundry, and relaxing a bit (and watching last night's Grey's which my DVR totally didn't record. Grr.)

    Many of you have pretty great weekends planned! And, booking venues is exciting!!! :)

    This weekend: Well first I need to clean up the damage from last night. After we yanked all of the pans out for cleaning up the water and had the fire in the dishwasher, we pulled everything out of the cabinets and the dishwasher. It's just chillin' on the floor now. And we have ALL of the towels we own soaking wet with gross water laying over our stools trying to dry. I'll have to clean those up too. So that's today. I also need to go grocery shopping eventually today. Tonight me and a friend are serving food at a homeless shelter in town.

    Tomorrow I get to go to a women's brunch thing at church, help at the horse ranch, and then get my hair cut. Then homework. Then the usual Saturday night fun. Hopefully it doesn't involve any fires or floods this time. ;)

    Sunday just church and hangin' out.
    Used to be bourgehm. +1,500 posts. Silly knot

    I have 0 plans for this weekend... This is the first weekend I have had nothing planned in probably 3 months!!!! I'm so excited! I will probably clean and do laundry on Saturday, maybe make stew or something else in the crockpot for dinner. Sunday, we will go to church and then probably just chill and watch football all day. I will have to go pick up my youngest sister's bday gift at some point, but that is it! WOO HOO!

I'm excited to see the new team in person.  I really wish the Quebec Nordiques would get their team back.  100's of the fans came to a Devils game last year & they were SOOOOO nice & really awesome!!!  We get a lot of Habs (Canadiens) fans when we play them & in my experience they're really mean & we played the Toronto Maple Leafs the other nights & they weren't very friendly either LOL</div>

    Tonight I will be at the theater, then with the BF all weekend, yay.

    Saturday I do have to go wedding dress shopping w/ my sister. Then onto the halloween party that was cancelled last weekend and I need to be at the theater a bit on Sunday afternoon.

     We are going to Tiffany this weekend to take a look at a few things. But, I'm pretty sure we are going with earrings and most likely the simple ball ones.
