It's the little things

Okay, So I have been a little MIA lately, work and life has been crazy. BF and I are looking at trying to buy a house... hopefully it qualifies for the Rural Development loan, so we can bypass PMI, and not have to put down 20%. If this is the case, then we can totally swing this, and get out of our apartment! :) We are looking at a house on Saturday, so wish us luck!

I bring this up because I'm trying to keep myself calm and not get too hopeful by looking at the little things in life that make me happy.

What "little things" in life make you happy??

Today, it would be the Arizona iced green tea singles. Normally, I don't like the singles things because they never taste right. This one isn't particularly amazing, but it's pretty close to the normal thing. :)

Ooh how exciting!! Good luck with the house hunting!

Peaches make me happy. They're my favorite fruit and we're getting like fifteen pounds of them from a local farm today!!! :-D

House hunting - so fun and yet so stressful at the same time. Good luck Irish!

I am thankful for all of the wonderful ladies at my gym. I have never been much of a gym-goer, but after getting to know the ladies at mine...I am so much more healthy and exercise at least 3x/week! They are so nice and they make working out fun for me. Yippee!

I'll keep my fingers crossed on the house for you guys!

Today my little thing is fitting into a pair of Paige jeans that I bought last year from Rue La La in the size that I 'thought' I was...I could not even get them past my hips...Today on a whim I pulled them out of the the closet and they fit perfectly :) SQUUUUUEEEEE!!!!!

Also- How is the yoga going Irish, have you found a class or style that you like yet?

Good luck with the house hunting!

My kittens make me super happy. They just purr all the time, and are super cute to boot.

    :) Thanks guys!

Lennon: I need to change my ticker - I haven't had a chance to find one that works for me. BF and I are checking out a gym this weekend (probably after we see the house), he thinks I need to get in better shape before I attempt hot yoga again. So we shall see. Also, Conrats on fitting into those jeans!! :) YAY!

Polo, I totally second the tomorrow is Friday vibe! :)

Good Luck! I know how difficult the house hunt is!

Today I'm enjoying that I remembered to take a vitamin before bed after we went to a Mexican restaurant and stayed for about 6 hrs and sang kareoke... $95(we don't g out much so that was like the past 3 weeks worth of go out money) later, I was feeling like the best singer in the joint! lol

My husband, our dog, mac&cheese, and having a roof over our heads.  We may live in a not-so-great 1 bedroom apartment at the moment but we have shelter, and that's all that matters to me.  I sometimes wish we were "well-off" and could afford a nice house - but at the end of the day - none of that REALLY matters.  There are people in third world countries living in dirt floor shacks and have to walk miles just to get water.  So..I'm grateful for what I do have.
