Thankful Thursday

So this is something I do on my work's facebook page every now and then, and thought I'd bring it up here.

What 3 things are you thankful for today?

Me? I'm thankful that I have my brothers and sisters who would do anything for me.

I'm thankful I found you ladies. It amuses me some days that ya'll are better friends than some of my IRL "friends".

I'm thankful I have a wonderful BF who is thoughtful, caring, and loves me unconditionally.

Have a great Thursday!! :)

Re: Thankful Thursday

  • I'm thankful to have a loving and supportive FI who would do anything for me.

I'm thankful to have a wonderful family who have been awesome with everything from going to college, helping me financially, and helping me plan the wedding!

I'm also so very thankful for you ladies as well, because as Irish said, some days you make my IRL friends look so lame, lol.

I'm doing 4. I am also thankful that I am healthy and able to continue to make myself healthier every day.

    Good idea, Irish!! : )

Hope everyone has a good day too!

  • Great idea Irish..

Ok, I'm thankful for a wonderful SO who loves and takes such amazing care of me and our son. From packing lunches, helping with homework, building pinewood derby cars to keeping me calm, making me laugh and ensuring that I always feel loved.

I am thankful for my amazing bosses who encourage me to continue my education and acheive great things.

I am thankful for all of you. You help me get through each day laughing my ass off...sometimes snorting in the process.

  • I'm thankful that Irish isn't ready to kill me after I failed at Skype last night.  I totally didn't see your text until like an hour later.  Sorry love.  We'll try again tonight if that works for you.

I'm thankful that my data set is ACTUALLY working today!

I'm thankful for an amazing boyfriend, who after listening to me bitch about cramps last night for 45 minutes, let me apologize for bitching and then said "You have every right to complain."  I shiit you not.  Where the hell did he come from?!  And who is flying down just because I had a craptastic two weeks.

I'm thankful for awesome parents who have done nothing but encourage me to chase my dreams, and who have raised me to be independent and strong.

I'm thankful for you ladies, for picking me up when I fall on my face and giving me your unending support and friendship.

  • I'm thankful for my amazing BF, who can make me laugh even when I'm mad at him for leaving dirty dishes directly above the empty dishwasher.

I'm thankful to have such a great family. They have always supported me, and I have never judged my choices, or interfered in my life as an adult. They also helped me so much financially so I was able to have the amazing time in college that I did.

I'm so thankful for my new job. I don't think I truly realized the extent of how miserable I was at my old job until I left.

I'm thankful for my amazing friends. I got so lucky through many stages of my life. I'm still very close to my childhood BFF, I was just asked to be a bridesmaid in my BFF from HS's wedding, and my college roommates and I have an ongoing e-mail to stay in touch, and have amazingly fun GTGs at least 4-5 times a year.

This is me. I do that all the time. I also am the only one to clean the bathrooms though, so I think it's a fair trade, lol.

    This times 100!!

I'm thankful for my mom. We have had a really rough relationship my entire life, but she has been there for me recently more than she ever has. She's helped with the girls and helped with the house, and stuck up for me in fights. It's truly a huge change.

I'm thankful for my FI for putting up with me and listening to me vent. For being the one person I can depend on to be there at the end of the day.

I'm also thankful for my FMIL. Her help with the girls when I need her and the ironing of laundry is something I seriously cannot thank her enough for. She is always there for me when I need something. Life is crazy and she helps to keep the balance.

  • I am thankful for my Parents. They've been through so much over the past few years and they're still strong for me and my sister and would do absolutely anything to make sure we are happy and cared for. Tomorrow is my birthday, which means 23 years ago my mom gave birth to a 10lb baby, that must be love to go through that!

I am thankful for my animals. Sometimes they are very needy and I get grouchy dealing with them, but they are the sweetest things in the world and I couldn't imagine not having them. When I come home they are always here waiting for me and there is no one else they would rather spend time with.

I am thankful to have my career and home. There are so many people with nothing and I have so much. I'm not always happy with my house, job, or car, but there are so many people who will never have that and would think I am the absolute luckiest person in the world for having all of that.
  • I'm thankful for our home.  yesterday was our one-year anniversary of being home-owners.

I'm thankful for my little dog.  she's like my best furry friend!

I'm thankful because it snowed a little bit last night... just enough to cover the ground, but not enough to screw up the roads.
  • I'm thankful for Game of Thrones & my mom's couch because my food poisoned ass is going HOME. Also very thankful for my wonderful BF who takes care of me when I'm gross and sickly.
  • I'm thankful for my family, especially my amazing brother & sister who I have only known for a year. I feel like with them in my life, I am completely who I am supposed to be, and that them making my life complete put me in the right frame of mind to finally be ready to meet the love of my life.

I'm thankful for my BF, who loves me without question, no matter what. (Except for that whole still holding a grudge because I wouldn't put out in high school, haha!)

I am thankful that I found this board, have made some amazing friends, and am continuing to build friendships with many of you. As some of my "friendships" IRL have dissapated for whatever reason (that's a whole other post), you ladies have picked me up and been there for me. I know there will always be someone here for me - whether it's a shoulder to cry on, an ear to listen, a rational voice of advice, or someone to make me snort laugh. Thank you :-)
