Couldn't reset password

I've tried a few times, but theknot keeps saying it sent me a link to reset my password, but I can't find it digging through my email.  So...new username! 

Mostly I just wanted to share we finally decided to pull the trigger and adopt a puppy.  But the one we wanted had JUST been put on reserve.  Who puts a reserve on a puppy without putting money down?  I get first come first serve, but there should always be money behind it.  We want our beagle girl!

Are you rescuing? Buying from a breeder?

Depending on the source, there's a lot of reasons for not accepting (or placing) money down on a dog.

I know, we just got really excited. We are buying from a breeder, but in the future plan to adopt from a shelter. The puppy was purchased tonight, and I'm a little heart broken.

There are tons of beagles looking to be adopted, why not check it out since this didn't work?

I really love the Beagle Freedom Project! You should seriously check them out. They rescue and adopt out laboratory beagles that were used in testing. Those guys need so much love. And they just rescued another group of dogs a week or two ago.
