This weekend was our 1-year wedding anniversary.  I just got home from the mountains, and I got our cake out of the freezer.  Mmmmm.  Year-old cake.How's everyone else doing this weekend?

I'll let you know after dinner.  I'm avoiding it.  haha!The night after our wedding, we wrapped our top layer up very tightly in saran wrap 4 times.  Then we stuck it in a freezer bag and sucked  all the air out with a straw.  It's been in our freezer since.We had to cut it into 3 pieces to get it into the freezer, and we thawed and ate a piece about 8 months ago.  It was good, but a bit dry.  I'll let you know how it is after the full year . . . cross your fingers.

Haha! I'm surprised it was good! I think we'll be skipping that too. Especially because he'll more than likely be deployed at our 1-year...it'll be like year and a half year old cake. I'm a little afraid of eating cake a week after you should Hahaha. Happy belated anniversary!
