Bach party

Just got an invitation to a bachelorette party. It's a cowgirl themed party. What the heck should I wear? I'm not a frequenter of theme parties and we'll be in public running into people we know so I'm going for subtle

As an aside, it was an online invitation where the guest list is private...... It might be bratty of me, but I hate that! I want to know the other 30 girls I'll be hanging out with, especially since I don't know many of the bride's friends

If I were you I would decline. I hate theme parties. And I hate dressing up as a character. Why do people feel the need to do this? Can't a group of women go out for a bach party dressed nicely without the weird outfits and what not?

I once attended a stupid cowgirl themed bach party. I found a checkered shirt, wore that with jean shorts and my mom had a pair of boots in the back of her closet. I would have declined if I wasn't a bridesmaid...
