For some crazy reason I decided a wedding wasn't enough to worry about and when my 21 year old FSIL had her baby 2 days shy of 30 wks and had NOTHING baby related yet because we'd just found out she was pregnant at like 20-something weeks and we couldn't get in to see a doctor to find out her due date or anything for over a month..I of course offered to throw her a shower because I love her and I know she needs it. The baby is doing WONDERFUL by the way! He was 2.10 when he was born and now he's almost 5 lbs!!!! They're talking about him coming home probably by the end of the week and he's technically only 34 weeks (the doctors said we can't count his age until his due date March 6 so they still go by womb age) The shower is on the 12th. We were kinda hoping he wouldn't be home because he doesn't need to be around so many people but well he decided differently! I have no idea how to throw a baby shower. I've bought and started addressing the invitations already..I've got a recipe for blue baby shower punch and I'm going to float little rubber duckies in it
Other than that nada! I was thinking just some finger foods like finger sandwiches, sausage balls, fruit, and cake something like that..maybe pigs n blankets..idk so any suggestions would be TOTALLY appreciated!!!
