corsages/boutinners

I am wondering who puts the bouttinnears/corsages on the guests of honor at the ceremony?
A wedding I went to the Personal Attendant did it, was that appropriate?

They put them on themselves.  The florist left them in my bridal suite, so my Mom and MIL put theirs on and the MOH ran the guys bouts over to the groom's suite and the guys put theirs on.  It's not something that is part of the ceremony, it should be done before the ceremony and pictures.

Oh yeah, I would find it really bizarre if it were part of the ceremony, like they had forgotten to give them out beforehand or the florist was late and they're trying to cover for it.  It shouldn't be part of the ceremony any more than putting on jewelry or attaching your veil should.
This is a neglected planning bio.
This is a belated married bio, with no reviews yet because I'm lazy.

Sometimes I feel like people think that brides are delicate little flower princesses who get all dressed up and pretty for one special moment of their dreams, when really they're just normal people who just happen to be getting married. Things shouldn't have to be sugar-coated for grown-ass women. -mstar284
