don't want daisies... help:(

so i have a pretty minute wedding budget, and i feel like i've been pressured into picking daisies to go with my green cymbidium orchids that i want. but i don't want daisies, getting married june 5 2010, can anyone give me some suggestions for cheap large flowers to go with? white and magenta preferably, but only white would work too.. HELP!

roses actually are not that expensive. You could also do hydrangeas.

if you're on a budget why did you choose and orchid? those are one one of the more expensive flowers. maybe try a lilly instead, there are some that are similar to the look of a orchid and will be less expensive. it might free up some money to get a nicer second flower.

spider mums are large and innexpensive, i know they come in white but i dont know if there are magenta ones

I'd go to your local florist with a bouquet budget.  You may be happy to see what fits it.

Talk to your florist, we're getting married on June 11 and our florist said that peonies are in bloom the first two weeks of June and much cheaper because they are in season. We're using magenta peonies as our main flower so it might work for you.

Talk to your florist.  If you don't want daisies - ask for other flower options in the same price range.  If your florist is unable to help you, find someone else who can.
