Engagement ornament

FI and I have a tradition of exchanging an ornament every Christmas... obviously I wanted this years to somehow involve us getting engaged. Enter this little guy:

I took a clear glass ball ornament and wrote the date we got engaged around the top in gold, then I filled the ornament from dried rose petals from the flowers he got me when he proposed.  It came out really cute, so thank god for ideas stolen from pinterest!
