when was your freak out moment?

Yesterday was my last day in triple digits.  99 days to go and a zillion diy projects left i'm having a bit of a freak out.  so tell, me when did you start freaking out?  what was your stress reliever?  did you have to get rid of any diy projects?

Re: when was your freak out moment?

  • i started freaking out three days ago at my first fitting, then again last night when we picked the cake and menu. it suddenly became real.
  • About a week and a half out when there were tons of little things to do.  People were also starting to offer their help, which I couldnt use for those little things but could have used the previous week when there were things like programs.
  • 2 nights before at the rehersal.  I was so stressed that I think I cried at one point... and nothing was even going wrong.  Surprisingly, I wasn't really stressed the day of the wedding at all though.

  • mine was the day we were supposed to get our engagement pictures taken, about 2 months before our upcoming wedding.  it all started because i had been too busy to figure out what to wear.  it was stupid but i just got all worked out.  we ended up canceling our e-pics that day. (my MOH was taking them, so she understood).

i have made a point to not do too many DIY projects for both my own and my FIs sanity.  at this point, i am just doing the escort cards/favors (they go together) and the programs.

  • i'm a little calmer now (my best friend talked me down from the cliff).  we made a huge dent in the diy projects so i'm feeling much better. and the glass of wine i had helped a little (ok two glasses and helped a lot)
  • The week after we got engaged. I didn't feel adequate and just like I had so much to learn. As time has gone by and the plans have started rolling and we're getting things together, that got a lot better and I feel ready to take married life on by the horns. Actually, I'm ridiculously excited :)
  •  My freak out moment was when the aisle got thrown away and then the pastor decided to try to talk us out of getting married. We are in the process of looking for a new church and pastor.
  • When I put my dress on & knew it was the one and this was the real deal & there was no turning back (not that I want to).  It all just hit home & I started crying then & there.

  • I'm still freaking out... I'm a school teacher and I'm finally on summer break but I only have a month. My fiance is complaining I''m not taking care of him enough but I'M SO STRESSED! My sisters are my MOH's and they are going through so much that I am being there for them instead of other way around. I love him so much but I'm so freaked out and stressed. I'm thinking about moving back the date.
  • started freaking about a week ago. there are 3 weeks left. it just all came real and its all happening so fast. I graduated in May, I am up for a job position that I really want, Im getting married, and moving in for the first time ever with a guy. lol. Alot of big changes. I actually get massages to relieve stress. We have a massage envy and its 45 dollars a month for an hour massage. Its helpful but crying is a good reliever too! LOL!

  • I'm exactly three months out and haven't had one yet... I expect to have one the week of probably, lol.
