Hi all,
I have been charged with coming up with some ideas for the Leadership to give to Department Staff this holiday season.
Background:
Smallish Clinic/Department in a hospital (45ish people)
Used to give bonus checks of $500 to each employee, then moved to a range of $250 - $500 depending on salary, etc
Hospital says bonus checks (or gift cards) cannot be given
So we need something that is meaningful, that staff will appreciate, that isn't a check or a ton of money.
I haven't been given a budget and was told to think creatively. I'm at a loss on what can match $500 extra dollars.
Some ideas so far (from me and others I have asked):
Ipads or some kind of tablet
Training opportunities outside of the hospital
Days off to use in the next year for 'free'
Some kind of fleece, jacket, etc
That's all I have for now. Anything anyone can add would be awesome.
It seems like right now, it's an anything goes list.
