I just received the best news last night!
My longtime friend, Mariko, from Japan is attending my wedding on August 13th. We met through a penpal service when I was in middle school. I remember sending and receiving letters/packages filled with stickers, glitter, hopes and dreams, fears and challenges. Several years ago, Mariko came to Shanghai to study Chinese and we met up for the first time. Afterward, we kept in touch through Facebook. And now she's coming to the wedding!!
