Reception at New Orleans Wax Museum

really intersted in having my reception at the Wax Museum. I have never been to a wedding there but it looks really nice and I can't get it out of my head. Has anyone been to or had a reception at the Wax Museaum? How was it and do you have any recommendations?

Also, I am looking for a caterer (If I decide to have it here). There are so many in NOLA. Does any one have any recommendations for a caterer?

This should be on local boards and the ladies on the NOLA board are great!

I will say though I was going to get married as a DW in NOLA. I just love that city!

I recommend the Wax Museum. It is fantastic. The staff is wonderful. I did not end up having my wedding there, but I had several meetings and phone calls with that venue. They're great.

For a caterer, I recommend ACME Oyster House. Simply fantastic and so great to work with!!

I'm also going to beg you to do a Second Line. Seriously. Where else can you get away with having a parade for your wedding? :P

I would be 'that guests' that would talk to a wax person on accident. . . and then get freaked out.
