Did anyone watch the premiere?
I am watching it now and I think my Favorite part was when the mom said to her twin: "I do need you, But I have to be a mom first"
and twin responds "Fine,BE A FREAKING MOM THEN." and storms off.
It's making me crack up...like, what's the alternative? Neglecting the baby for her other twin? C'mon...

TBH, I wasn't getting the "successful model" vibe from either one of them.  I felt bad for the other twin, she just seemed to feel to neglected and left out, and her whole life was changing.

Not that the mom-twin's life wasn't changing too, but at least she sort of had a say in it.

I watched it, and I thought the twin was weirdly obsessed with her sister, whiney, immature, and annoying.

And how the hell were they models? They must have won some sort of deranged contest.

That show (like most reality TV) makes me feel much better about the life decisions I've made.  I hope that doesn't sound too horrible....

(not meant to slam anyone who was a teenage mom...just the way the show portrays these girls as silly and incompetent)

I felt so bad for the twin, I understand the boyfriend wanting only him to be in the room, but come on! The mom is days away from labor and you are making her chose between her twin sister and the dad. Give the poor girl a break! (Not that I think anyone should be demanded to chose one person over the other like that)

But I admit, I cried (but I've gotten pretty sappy in my old age)

It pisses me off that they make such a big paycheck for that show...lol

<div>Didn't Kailyn and Jenelle confirm that they only make $9,000 a season? In the grand scheme of things, especially with a baby, that's not that much.</div>

I've only seen the numbers for the Teen Mom girls.  I wonder how much they make for 1 episode of 16 and Pregnant.

Yeah, I watched!  I didn't really get the whole model thing either.

FI and I had just talked about our baby-making timeline literally seconds before the show came on and then I got really freaked out by this episode.  Her poor baby :(  I hate to see such an innocent thing in pain.

It's one of those shows that you have a morbid interest in and just can't stop watching. I have my own babies, and it makes me so mad sometimes to see how these KIDS (yes, children) act towards their own children.

I wonder if they have a casting call or something for the girls to be on the show.... Do you have an audition tape? How does that process work?? How much of your private life do you sell the media??

I am a teen mom and I am not ashamed of it. The show ashames me more. I understand that there are girls out there that are as naive as the girls in the show but where is the representation of the opposite end of life?

Yes I may fuss and fight with my daughters father and over the years we have had plenty of ups and downs but I have always put her first. I have worked hard and sacrificed plenty to take care of her because she is a part of me.
The show makes makes teen pregnancy look planned.

They ended up taking him to the doctor who sent them to the ER.  He had acid reflux and had to be put on an IV overnight.  The doctor gave her some meds and a new formula recommendation and sent them home the next morning.

I'm very disgusted by Jenelle for beating the crap outta that girl and it being recorded.  She deserves what she gets!

There is actually a fan page for Jenelle on FB....I wanted to write something mean but thought better of it.  I have no tolerance for that kind of behavior and especially over some loser guy that was arrested for cocaine possession.
