so yesterday my bridesmaid told me her mom couldn't do the updo I wanted (wedding is in 6 days) and I was sort of freaking out but through the awesomeness of God I SOMEHOW got an appointment today (because someone cancelled) at a salon my friend recommended me to months ago, and everything worked out and my hair was perfect, and one of my bridesmaids came with me to comfort me. Afterwards I had my final dress fitting and everything was perfect and beautiful and I got so excited thinking about how I am going to be be my FIs wife in 6 days. Then I come home and FI checked all of the big things off the checklist we had to do, so everything is pretty much done except the music for the wedding and he is amazing, so I feel extremely blessed. Then we get a call from FIs mother, his sister lives in CT, and she is trying to get out of there tonight because of the hurricane, (originally, she was leaving Wednesday but it is so awesome that she could come home early) and now she is stuck in phili and is trying to find a way out. For some reason the tokyo airport is flooded so my FI's Japanese relatives might not be able to fly out of tokyo today (they are flying out in 3 hours!!) . They are coming all the way around the world just for our wedding and I am so humbled,so I hope they can still arrive tomorrow as planned. Also FI's groomsman got hurt in a soccer game today so he might not be able to make it to the bachelor party tomorrow. I feel so bad for FI. Today has been bitter sweet and I really just wanted to write about it and get some cheering up. Anyone here in the area where the hurricane is hitting?? anyone in CT by any chance? How bad is it? We have a couple guests coming from VA and I'm worried.
