Wen Hair Product Line

and please, i dont want a "its on an info-mercial, so of COURSE it DOESNT work!" kind of thing.

thanks! :)

Re: Wen Hair Product Line

  • I wasn't going to say it's in infomercial, because I didn't know that.  I will say that they have been spamming my inbox daily, so I won't buy it out of principle.  Sorry, that's all I've got.

  • i haven't tried it but I REALLY get tempted every time a commercial comes on.  Any feedback from folks who have tried it or still use it?

  • I've only met one person who said she's used it... and doesn't like it.

  • I buy lots of infomercial crap and I love all of it.  I haven't tried Wen but I would like to.  I bet it's awesome.  And I'm completely serious.  Those informercial bastards can sell me anything.  I'm very impressionable.

The concept behind Wen is cleaning your hair without shampooing it and stripping it of its natural oils.  I've tried washing my hair every other day instead of every day, and on the days I don't wash it, I just condition it.  And my hair feels fine.

Btw, I just got my roots done.  They are awesome.  How's the horses?

  • Sorry, no, BUT I did use a different Guthy-Renker product for a while (one of the skin care things that you order and then set up on a monthly/bi-monthly/whatever schedule), and they were very accommodating and easy to deal with, for what that's worth.

I dealt with them by phone, though, which may be why I didn't have a spamming problem.
  • someone on the 'Wedding Beauty' board said that they liked it, and when they went back to "Old" shampoo/conditioner they could feel a difference. im just nervous to just "jump in" and try it without hearing testimonials (and the ones on the site...im not sure how believeable they are, id rather ask my Knottie friends)

i may have to do it, and then give everyone a review :) very tempted
  • I haven't used their products but my Sister (and her SIL) both use the shampoo & conditioner and love it.  My sister has had keratin treatments done on her hair and needs to use sulfate free shampoos and WEN is one.  She does alternate between this and other brands only because of the cost.   I believe she finds it in a store now (Whole Foods carries it) just because it's easier than buying on line.
  • whole foods carry it now? YESSS!
