I'm in the accounting/finance field and was wondering, if those of you who are, have you heard of this organization:
http://www.financialops.org/If you are familiar with it have you taken the CAPA or CAPP test? Has it helped you advance in your current position (pay increase/promotion if able to move up) or future opportunities?
The reason I'm asking is because I am going to get the book/study materials necessary later this year and curious if it helped you better understand and do your job. There is no room to move up in my department and I know this would benefit me in the long run, but afraid I won't be recognized if I do take the test and pass it. I bust my butt and have been for years without any recognition.
