so today i had my first jury duty. i was called in first thing so i had high hopes that i'd be in and out before lunch. but the judge and attorneys took 6 HOURS to chose jurors, and of course i was in the last 5 to get called to the box. they didn't use me as a juror and thank goodness because it was a murder trial that was estimated to take 1-3 weeks to finish.
