Which invitation wording sounds better?

I've been trying to figure out what wording to use on our invitations and I think I've narrowed it down to two. FI says the first one sounds corny but I like it. What do you ladies think?

I didn't vote, because I think it depends. Is your wedding going to be quirky and casual? You can get away with #1 if that is the case. However, if you are wanting a more formal affair, I would certainly consider the version PP posted.

"Invite you to share in the joy of their wedding day", definitely.

"invite you to share with us a celebration of love" just sounds too mushy and "gross" to me.

I'm also the girl that insisted on vows that I could "say with a a straight face", so yeah, I might not be the best authority on the matter.
