Veil or No Veil! Help!!

We have having a very "Western" wedding.  Yes, get married in a church, but decorations are over the top cowboy/cowgirl.  That's just who we are.  I can not decided if I want a veil or not...Not really my thing, a dress really isn't my thing! lol! I have super thick hair and i'm really worried if I buy one it will not work with my hair style.  Whould it look bad to NOT wear a veil!?!?

It's not that odd these days to skip the veil.  You could find some kind of cute hair piece instead.  My SIL actually had a thing that had some kind of feathers and looked sort-of country, so I think it could be done.

Don't feel pressured to wear a veil. I am not going to wear one. It took me awhile to be ok with it but I just kept telling myself that not wearing a veil does not make me any less of a bride.

You don't have to wear a veil if you don't want to.  I didn't like any veils I tried on - but I ended up going with a birdcage veil.

I dunno how it would look, but what about a white cowboy hat?  A bride I met on TK wore a hat with her wedding dress (it was a southern style type hat - really cool) and it was gorgeous.  Maybe with a fascinator in it or something.  Again - not really sure on that, lol.  Just throwing it out there.
