Who should pay for the bridesmaids to get their hair done the day of the wedding??  I am just not sure what is the norm.

If you are requiring them to have their hair professionally done, then you have to pay for it.  If you leave it up to them, then they can pay themselves.

I think they pay unless you are demanding they have their hair done a certian way, in a certian salon, ect; then you should help fund the hair doos.  Thats how it works here anyway

If you tell them they need to get it done professionally, you pay.  If you leave it up to them whether they'd like to do it themselves or have it done professionally, they can pay for it if they decide to have it done.

Same. I don't really have it in my budget to pay (and I also don't care), so I'm letting them do whatever they want. I think two are going to use my hair lady and two are going to do their own.

The wedding I was in I paid for my own hair and make-up. When my friend got married she asked us who we wanted to do our hair and make-up. Since we all go to the same place she booked the place for us and we paid ourselves. It's also up to the bride. Many brides want their girls to get their hair and make-up done and others don't mind. I know with me I told them that it was up to them on what they wanted to do. My friends all want their hair and make-up done but they are paying. It's very pricey hair and make-up so it would cost you a fortune to pay for your bridesmaids.

When I was a bridesmaid I was told I had to wear my hair up, and there was no offer to pay- I paid myself. For my wedding, I just told everyone to wear their hair however they wanted, and I paid for one of my bridesmaid who went to the same salon I did (she flew in to attend the wedding so I wanted to help out a little). I don't see a reason why you would have to pay for your bridesmaids hair and make up.
