FI is one of the GM. We got no invitation because the couple said it wasn't proper etiquette to send an invite to the wedding party. So my invitation was word of mouth. I guess I'm invited?
I didn't go to the rehearsal dinner last night, because again, no invite. Neither the bride nor groom contacted me to say anything about it. FI told me last night after he got back that the bride's mother, who hosted it asked where I was because I was "more than welcome to come." Really, how would I have known that?
The ONLY people I will know are FI, the bride and the groom.
I went to wish the groom a happy wedding day on Facebook, but just realized he had deleted me. I assume it's because once I put a status about how much I hated his favorite college football team. FI says he's sensitive about that. Or he just doesn't like me.
And last week, the bride was texting my FI saying how she thinks the groom is being shady, but she put too much money into the wedding so she's going to go ahead with the wedding, then get divorced (annulment?) and have a divorce party. Her and FI aren't even friends. So she was going behind her FI's back and talking to one of his good friends about him. If you have a problem, talk to your fiancé, not mine.
No point to this post. I just sometimes wonder what the heck people are thinking.
