Nothing to do...

Did anyone have a lul during planning and executing the plan for the wedding?  I've done everything I could do for three days and I'm in awe.  Not quite lost, but other than studying how to apply "day of permanent makeup", I have nothing left I can do.  Yes, there should be an appreciation for this, but it leaves some minor concern about whatever will "surprisingly screw up" between now and next week.

  • There comes a point where everything is done and it just so happens that you are done a week before your wedding.  I think the only thing I had left to do about a day or so before was gather everything I had to take to the venue and print my seating chart...other than that I was done.

You should enjoy the fact that you are done everything and just relax over the next week.  Don't stress about anything...what is done is done.

  • I had a lull a few months ago and now I'm feeling the heat again. I know what you mean, though. You have been planning and planning and running all of these months. It's finally coming together & there really isn't more to do. Just go over your lists and timelines and see if there is anything that you forgot. Perhaps there is something else that you can get out of the way not. If not, enjoy it!
  • I have a lull right now where I"m just waiting for stuff.  Stuff I've ordered, alterations to be done, RSVPs to come back etc.  Things are going to pick up again once RSVP date hits because I'm waiting to make centerpieces and favors until I Know how many I need (so I can return the extra materials).  The hardest thing right now is keeping myself from adding stuff just to have things to do - I've been battling myself over pomanders all week :)
  • I have a lill right now,,, But thats because my wedding isnt for over a year :p the real planning wont begin for a while
  • I am in a lull as well, except i need to finish the invites, but I am afraid i will just screw more up (i am making pockets) but like PP just relax and enjoy your last week as a single woman

  • I finished everything about a week before my wedding too. Which turned out to be a good thing, because once family started rolling into town, I was beyond busy with all of them. So it made it easier to see everyone knowing that I didn't have any wedding stuff to take care of.

Just relax and enjoy the fact that you're finished!!
