Centerpieces

I’m kind of clueless about centerpieces. If I pay the decorator $80 per a centerpiece, do I get to keep the centerpieces or do I have to return them?

Re: Centerpieces

  • Well that depends on what you asked for/what your contract says. My FSIL spent $80/centrepiece and she got to keep them (she ended up giving them away to guests) and my friend's cousin spent $15/centrepiece and also got to keep them.

  • We did not get to keep ours.
What did you think would happen if you walked up to a group of internet strangers and told them to get shoehorned by their lady doc?~StageManager14

  • I kept mine and gave them away. Your contract should note whether or not the centerpieces need to be returned.
  • Check your contract or ask your decorator.

I had my florist do our centerpieces.  Everything that she used was mine for the keeping because I paid for the items.  We just let our guests who wanted some pretty flowers for a few days take them home.

But with decorators it may be different.  The $80 may be the cost to rent the items and put together the centerpieces, not to actually purchase the items for you to keep.

  • we are going to give them away and whats left is going to be donated to a local nursing home.  No need to let pretty flowers go to waste.
