NWR: Anyone been to Bar Harbor?

Hubby and I are headed up in a few weekends for a our belated "mini-moon". Any recommendations of good restaurants, things to do, etc?

There are a ton of things to do in Bar Harbor. There is acadia national park with lots of trails to hike, and views to see. In the park is a beach, I wouldn't recommend going swimming, the water is really cold up there. If you are up for it you can go up to the top of cadillac mountain and watch the sun rise, you can drive you don't have to hike, It's one of the first places to see the sun rise in the united states. There's a lot shopping downtown. Geddy's Pub has good food. 2 Cats has a really good breakfast, their muffins are awesome. Improv Acadia is the only improv comedy show in maine, they do like 2 shows a night. If you go, go to the later show, the earlier one is kid friendly. Have fun, I love going to Bar Harbor.

I second Geddy's restaurant. They have good food and a really cool atmosphere. There's a lot of places to shop around there too. There's a store called Del Sol which is so cool. Everything in that store turns a different color when you go out into the sun. I bought a few hair clips there that change color. Have fun!

My FI and I stayed at a place called Clark Point Inn when we were there and it was wonderful!  It's a bed and breakfast in Southwest Harbor (still on Mt. Desert Island) and the breakfast was to die for!  I would highly recommend it if you don't already have a place to stay...
