East Coast Heat-wave in March?!?

Why is it 70 degrees when it's still winter? I'm loving the warm weather but things like this kinda freak me out! LOL! This weather has been crazy between tornados and hurricanes. What's next?

I know the feeling; I'm in upstate NY and SU was playing UCONN - we watched the game in shorts out on the back porch.

This is my thought. I work outside right now and when it goes over a certain temperature, I can't work (not safe for human or horses). There were a couple weeks last summer were I couldn't ride for a couple weeks in a row, so instead I just gave all the horses a bath once a week.

We're also slightly concerned about the severe weather. We've already 'out done' last years tornado season, time wise, which makes me a little worried. We're by no means in tornado alley here in NC, but last year, we missed a direct hit by about 2 miles. Our house doesn't have a 'safe place' either. :(

With that said, I LOVED today's weather. It was 70 with a slight breeze. I feel asleep on our hammock for 30 mins and it was amazing. If it would just stay around this temp, I'd be a happy camper :)

I'm loving this weather!  We took a risk planning our wedding for March in NC... it could be 72 and sunny, or 40 and rainy... and right now its looking like we'll at least have warmer weather!

Yay! How exciting! I think every brides nightmare is having horrible weather. I'm sure it will be fine for you guys. Congrats!

I'm thinking if it's this warm in March, then what's it going to be like when I have my outdoor wedding at the end of June?  I hope it's not too crazy hot!
