advice needed

It seems ever since I got engaged, people have been treating me and my FI differently. like mostly being rude or snotty. and  it is  really is making me sad.   I was wondering if anyone else has been treated differently since their engagement? And If so .. any advice?

How old are you? I wonder if they're being snotty to you or just contemptuous.

I'm also wondering how old you are.  The only reason I can think of that someone might treat an engaged couple differently is if they're very young, like under 20.

Do you talk about things other than your wedding?  I get annoyed when the only thing engaged people talk about is their wedding and I start to avoid contact with them.
