  • Wow. Did he do a show there?

I used to be in love with Garth back in the day. However, I kinda lost respect for him with the whole divorce/Trisha Yearwood thing.

I never will forget when he came to my hometown and my Dad ended up getting tickets from someone at work and he wouldn't take me. Him and my Mom went. I was so pissed and is all they brought me back was a hat from the tour he was on.

He is currently in the process of doing 9 there. Tonight is the last night. He is doing them to raise money for the floods they had in Nashville.

He and Trisha are perfect for each other, and you could see that by how they acted and sang together on stage (she was there as well). Sometimes you have to do what is right, and it's so obvious his number one priority is definitely her and his kids.

  • Did he sing "Unto us this Night?"  I love, love, love that song.   I sang it at our church Christmas Eve service last year~it's just gorgeous!
"Trix, it's what they/our parents wanted. Why so judgemental? And why is your wedding date over a year and a half ago? And why do you not have a groom's name? And why have you posted over 12,000 posts? And why do you always say mean things to brides?" palegirl146

I understand that. I still listen to country music and even had his Christmas album playing the other day. The more I read into it, it seemed as though it was right for them and his first marriage was never quite right to begin with. And I know they had a thing way before he was married to his ex and then broke up and went on to marry other people.
