Venue Question

I'm new to the Knot, newly engaged!  Looking for a venue site and wondering if anyone has any information about the following venues.  Three Chimneys, The Exeter Inn or Governors Inn.

3 C's - Great to work with, food was excellent, and rooms for overnight guests were very nice.

I got married at The Governor's Inn. Everything was VERY reasonably priced, Lisa was fabulous to work with, the food was amazing (people are STILL talking about it), service the night of was fantastic. My one complaint would be the state of the rooms. We had a few guests complain but according to Lisa they are working to improve this.I have a friend who got married at Three Chimneys. The wedding was beautiful. They were very disappointed to find out that they were not allowed to bring cocktails outside. You may want to ask questions about that when you call. Good luck on your search and welcome to the board!

I'm not to familiar with 3 Chimney's, or the Governors Inn, but I have eaten at the Exeter Inn and the food was amazing. Shannon Cote is the coordinator there and is very easy to work with.Good luck and congratulations on your engagement!!

I've heard good things about all places. When is your wedding? Just an FYI about 3 Cs: it's right on the edge of UNH campus so timing is important, when students move in/out, parents weekend, homecoming, etc. GL.
