PWD -Pre Wedding depression.... am i alone?

Hi Ladies,
Just need to know has tere ever been a bride who is no longer enjoying the wedding plans (or wasnt really enjoying it to begin with?)?

I mean tere are points where i get estatic bu tehreare far and few in betewwen ...

Right now i jat want to hurry up and get the day over with...m no longe enjoying this...in fact i'm begining to wonder is i relly want to get married at all...

Rest assured I think the highs and lows are to be expected. My emotions have been all over the place since I got engaged 18months ago. Hang in there it will be over with before you know. I am now 4 some weeks from my wedding day. Last year I thought it would never be here and now I can't believe it is here.

I actually just had an OMG OMG OMG!!! moment this afternoon. I'm still reeling from it!

I have times where I am like.. "Ugh lets just get this over with all ready"... then I have times where I am all giddy and excited. like PP said.. the stress can get to you sometimes and it can all be overwhelming..

HI, new to this board but was new to all boards until about a month before my wedding.


ANYWAY,

I absolutely hated planning my wedding. Every step of the way was another complaint from soemone in the family.  My wedding planning story is insane you would wonder how i made it through. Short story it was a DW then too many complaints then moved it home and had to change our venue 2.5 weeks before the wedding!

My wedding day turned out amazing and I was so ready to go to city hall. I would not take back our wedding day ever. The pain i went through in planning was worth it even though it was a hard road.

I'm right with you!  I love my man, but I'm seriously trying to talk him into eloping with me to the Salt Lake City temple.  I am so tired of trying to please other people... so that's just it... I am focused on pleasing he and I.

I'm new to the boards, have looked but never written. I know exactly how the poster is feeling. I was up for about an hour last night, I almost started to write the pros/cons to getting married. I need to get away from planning for like a week but then I'll stress about not getting things done. Ugh!
