Looking at Venue, questions

Hey guys,

So I just made an appointment to go look at this place, Mulberry Art Studios in downtown Lancaster PA. This will be the first venue that my fiance and I (my mother is coming along also) will look at for both our ceremony and reception. I am excited and nervous at the same time.

I wanted to ask all of you, what are some good questions to ask, or info to tell them? I feel like I'm going to forget to ask something important.

Ok you need to know what is included in the price (every detail, tables, chairs, etc.), what size are the tables (for sizing table cloths), ask what time you are allowed to set up, what time everything has to be cleaned up by, ask about catering (if you want to use an outside caterer make sure it's ok), ask about the bar (if you are having one), is there an extra charge for police officers if you serve alcohol, what is the service charge, are there any additional fees, what time are you allowed to come in and dress, what does your dressing space look like, can all of your BMs fit and get dressed in there, what will the layout look like (for both ceremony and reception), where will different things be placed in the room (food, cake table, dj, dance floor, gift table), is the rehearsal included in the price, is there a sound system (if you do you ceremony there you want to make sure people can hear you), is there an extra charge to use the sound system, how many staff will be on hand, what time will your vendors have access to the facility to set up/deliver, is there a payment schedule, what is the deposit, when do you need to have your final count in...

Basically ask a ton of questions.  Very important: if they promise you anything make them write it into your contract!  That way you will have a signed document should they not do something they promised you.  Check the math on their totals for your charges.  The lady at my venue transposed 2 numbers and it said we owed them like $2000 more than we really did.  GL!
