OMG- My Guest List

Ok so I kind of hate being myself right now!  I wanted to invite about 200 people and get about 150 people. Well then I started puting EVERYONE on my guest list. And the fact that I wanted to get as much done before I started school again, and that I just wanted to do everything.....I sent out my Save-the-Dates. Now I wish I could go back and cut like half of my friends off my guest list....It is now at 283 and I am about to add about 10 more people (family that I forgot). So much for 150 people.....I know I can't take them back now, but I wish I could go back in time and not send them in the first place....I really hope a whole lot of people don't come! I know that sounds bad, but I do.

Ugh. Well like you said, you got to just hope that people cant make it. And dont forget, that was just the save-the-dates. So once you plan the actual details, people may not be able to make it. There's reallyno way to change whats been done. Just wait till invites go out & rsvps come back, then you can think of other ways to adjust your budget!

Vendors are not allowed to post on this site.  I suggest you edit your post, and not mention the fact that you're a wedding planner anywhere else.  People have been banned for less.

wow! I know the feeling! FI and I were thinking about 150-170 people and it turned into 250! We had to cut down the list and the plus one's. While it is true that people will decline, you don't know how many will decline so I would go through your list again to see if you can reduce your numbers

Yeah, I really hope none of your friends are engaged and see this.That's a pretty douchy statement IMO.  I mean, I'm sure you wont be complaining when they send you gifts and all. . . Just sayin

Depending on the time of your wedding (time of the year) could give you an estimate if some people will come and some wont. But just remember to plan for everyone to show. Karma happens. . A lot!

Good luck with the rest of planning! And I agree with PP, I'd edit your post so it doesn't sound so 'vendorish'
